It’s about quality materials and economy of design. My clay is sourced from deep in the <3 of Texas, where influences run deep amid the limestone and juniper. Born and raised in TX, I’ve lived in the Basin and Range, Great Plains, Hill-Country and throughout the Grand Prairie. I’m interested in part-to-whole relationships, and my studio practice explores the possible connections- the interstices, rhizome and intermezzo. I make a variety of objects from functional pottery to ceramic sculpture. My shop is stocked with studies for ikebana - ceramic vessels with abstract flower arranging in mind. Please reach out if you have questions or commissions.
