This was the first of my self-intersecting objects - a study for more involved structures. Inspired by continuous line drawing and cursive writing, the narrow profile sculpture feels like part of a 3D alphabet or material language. With a matte shino glaze the surface looks more like leather than stoneware. Produced in March 2024 in Austin, Texas. 12”H x 8”W x 4”D
